This T-shirt was produced as a promotional item for a Run-D.M.C. concert in the early 80s. Because of the rarity of 80s hip hop tees, especially Run-D.M.C. shirts, and the group’s legendary partnership with Adidas, this shirt has become something of a collector’s item. The back of the shirt features a joint Adidas/Run-D.M.C. “My Adidas” logo.

John Lennon “Home” T-shirt – $16,400
This shirt was originally given to Lennon by Richard Ross, owner of the now-defunct Home restaurant, frequented by Lennon and Yoko Ono, in New York’s Upper East Side. He wore it for several shows and it became such an iconic part of his image that reproductions are available to this day, despite the restaurant’s closure.

UNICEF Cargo Flight – $300,000
UNICEF has been selling t-shirts for some time now to raise awareness of those in need. UNICEF has a line of 12 t-shirts, Good Shirts, starting at $18US and end up at $1,000. Sales from these expensive t-shirts collect money for a variety of causes aimed to fund everything from mosquito nets, energy biscuits, de-worming medication and even cargo flights from Denmark to Kenya, and are available through Threadless.

Superlative Luxury – $400,000
In January 2012 a new expensive shirt designed in London by Superlative Luxury arrived. The current most expensive t-shirt in the world is created using renewable sources of energy like solar and wind power with almost 100% less C02 production when you compare the manufacturing process to traditional t-shirt production.
Superlative Luxury’s most expensive t-shirt in the world features a special spherical pattern exalted with sixteen certified diamonds. Eight of which are 1ct white diamonds, the other eight are extremely rare and hard to find black diamonds, each over 1ct.

In 2009, Brioni possibly the most renown tailored clothing manufacturer in the world released, a stunner of a suit, the Brioni Vanquish II. The suits are of course made-to-measure and the fabric is woven from exotic fibers such as vicuna, pashmina and Qiviuk.

Alexander Amosu suit – $110,000 USD
Luxury designer Alexander Amosu’s extravagant suit creation uses the same fabric, the Vanquish II, that Brioni’s suit masterpiece uses. What set’s Amosu’s suit apart is 9 diamond buttons set in 18-carat gold. The suit, which took 80 hours to make also contains 5,000 stitches of platinum and gold threads.

R.Jewels Diamond Edition – $943,000 USD
Stuart Hughes and Richard Jewels have crafted the world’s most expensive suit, the R. Jewels Diamond Edition. The suit is made from a blend of Cashmere wool and silk and contains over 480 diamonds. Each gem is half a carat for a total of 240 carats of bling.

The Town & Country package includes a five-night stay in two different locations. They say that the road to the palace of wisdom is paved with excess. The folks at Hang Fu¬ng Gold Technology Group in Hong Kong must be very wise indeed. The company's Hong Kong showroom features the "Hall of Gold," which contains several opulent handcrafted treasures. But the tourist favorite is "The World's Most Expensive Gold and Jewelry Sparkling Environmental Friendly Washroom" [source: Hang Fung]. Perhaps the most admired item in the gold bathroom is the 24-carat solid gold toilet.
In early 2008, some concern arose that the famous gold toilet could be melted down. The jewelers assuaged the public's worries by announcing that the toilet will remain intact. However, the company says that some of the other fixtures in the golden lavatory may not fare so well [source: AFP].
The company's owners stipulated that if the price of gold reaches $1,000 per ounce, one ton (32,000 ounces) of the tourist attraction will be melted into bullion and sold [source: AFP]. The company would gross a cool $32 million, and the owners would net about $17.6 million.
