Run-D.M.C. “My Adidas” T-shirt – up to $13,000
This T-shirt was produced as a promotional item for a Run-D.M.C. concert in the early 80s. Because of the rarity of 80s hip hop tees, especially Run-D.M.C. shirts, and the group’s legendary partnership with Adidas, this shirt has become something of a collector’s item. The back of the shirt features a joint Adidas/Run-D.M.C. “My Adidas” logo.
John Lennon “Home” T-shirt – $16,400
This shirt was originally given to Lennon by Richard Ross, owner of the now-defunct Home restaurant, frequented by Lennon and Yoko Ono, in New York’s Upper East Side. He wore it for several shows and it became such an iconic part of his image that reproductions are available to this day, despite the restaurant’s closure.
UNICEF Cargo Flight – $300,000
UNICEF has been selling t-shirts for some time now to raise awareness of those in need. UNICEF has a line of 12 t-shirts, Good Shirts, starting at $18US and end up at $1,000. Sales from these expensive t-shirts collect money for a variety of causes aimed to fund everything from mosquito nets, energy biscuits, de-worming medication and even cargo flights from Denmark to Kenya, and are available through Threadless.
Superlative Luxury – $400,000
In January 2012 a new expensive shirt designed in London by Superlative Luxury arrived. The current most expensive t-shirt in the world is created using renewable sources of energy like solar and wind power with almost 100% less C02 production when you compare the manufacturing process to traditional t-shirt production.
Superlative Luxury’s most expensive t-shirt in the world features a special spherical pattern exalted with sixteen certified diamonds. Eight of which are 1ct white diamonds, the other eight are extremely rare and hard to find black diamonds, each over 1ct.

Beautiful Isn'it?
A baby bonobo kisses its mother at Jacksonville Zoo in Florida. British plumber, Graham McGeorge spent three months documenting the female dominated world of these charismatic apes. He says his pictures of kissing and cuddling bonobos show the apes are so in love with each other that the normal primate behaviour of grooming hair has been taken to the extreme - the mothers who rule their society have plucked the hair from their babies
Golden toilet::::::::Who wants to leave this toilet (Selling is Happy:) )
They say that the road to the palace of wisdom is paved with excess. The folks at Hang Fu¬ng Gold Technology Group in Hong Kong must be very wise indeed. The company's Hong Kong showroom features the "Hall of Gold," which contains several opulent handcrafted treasures. But the tourist favorite is "The World's Most Expensive Gold and Jewelry Sparkling Environmental Friendly Washroom" [source: Hang Fung]. Perhaps the most admired item in the gold bathroom is the 24-carat solid gold toilet.
In early 2008, some concern arose that the famous gold toilet could be melted down. The jewelers assuaged the public's worries by announcing that the toilet will remain intact. However, the company says that some of the other fixtures in the golden lavatory may not fare so well [source: AFP].
The company's owners stipulated that if the price of gold reaches $1,000 per ounce, one ton (32,000 ounces) of the tourist attraction will be melted into bullion and sold [source: AFP]. The company would gross a cool $32 million, and the owners would net about $17.6 million.
The one-of-a-kind posh potty will be spared and remain in Hang Fung's showroom -- it's not for sale. But if you're itching to add some bling to your bathroom, there are some other fixtures on the market that might appeal to your expensive taste. Read about them on the next page.

Food Lovers::: Think of Eating these? Check out the Price .(Selling is Happy :))
Food is one of the basic needs that all living things have in common. But all foods are not created equal, especially in terms of price, as the following list illustrates.
1. Hamburger
At $99, the Double Truffle Hamburger at DB Bistro Moderne in Manhattan gives new meaning to the term whopper. The burger contains three ounces of rib meat mixed with truffles and foie gras stuffed inside seven ounces of sirloin steak and served on a Parmesan and poppy seed bun, with salad and truffle shavings. For penny-pinchers and calorie counters, the Single Truffle version is a mere $59.
2. Caviar
The world's most expensive caviar is a type of Iranian beluga called Almas. Pale amber in color, it comes from sturgeons that are between 60 and 100 years old. A 3.9-pound container will set you back $48,750.
3. Pie
In 2006, a chef in northwestern England created the world's most expensive pie. Based on a traditional steak and mushroom pie, the dish includes $1,000 worth of Wagyu beef fillet, $3,330 in Chinese matsutake mushrooms (which are so rare that they are grown under the watchful eyes of armed guards), two bottles of 1982 Chateau Mouton Rothschild at a cost of about $4,200 each, as well as black truffles and gold leaf. The pie serves eight with a total cost around $15,900, or $1,990 per slice, which includes a glass of champagne.
4. Bread
Forget Poilâne's famous French sourdough at $19.50 a loaf. In 1994, Diane Duyser of Florida noticed that the toasted sandwich she was eating appeared to contain an image of the Virgin Mary. She kept it for ten years (it never went moldy), before selling it to Canadian casino Goldenpalace.com for $28,000 in 2004.
5. Ice Cream Sundae
At $1,000, the Grand Opulence Sundae at New York's Serendipity certainly lives up to its name. Made from Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream covered in 23-karat edible gold leaf and drizzled with Amedei Porcelana, the world's most expensive chocolate, this indulgence is studded with gold dragets and truffles and topped with dessert caviar.
6. Pizza
Americans love their pizza. And at $1,000 a pie (or $125 a slice) they better be able to put their money where their mouth is. The Luxury Pizza, a 12-inch thin crust, is the creation of Nino Selimaj, owner of Nino's Bellissima in Manhattan. To order this extravagant pizza, call 24 hours in advance because it is covered with six different types of caviar that need to be specially ordered. The pie is also topped with lobster, crème fraîche, and chives.
7. Boxed Chocolates
At $2,600 per pound, Chocopologie by Knipschildt Chocolatier of Connecticut is the world's most expensive box of chocolates. The Chocolatier, opened in 1999 by Danish chef Fritz Knipschildt, also sells a decadent dark chocolate truffle with a French black truffle inside for a mere $250. But don't expect to just drop in and buy one on a whim . . . they're available on a preorder basis only.
8. Sandwich
Since the 19th century, the club sandwich has been a restaurant staple. But thanks to English chef James Parkinson, the von Essen Platinum club sandwich at the Cliveden House Hotel near London is also the world's most expensive sandwich at $197. Weighing just over a pound, the sandwich is made of the finest ingredients, including Iberico ham cured for 30 months, quail eggs, white truffles, semi-dried Italian tomatoes, and 24-hour fermented sourdough bread.
9. Omelette
For $1,000, this gigantic concoction comes stacked with caviar and an entire lobster encased within its eggy folds. Still, one might expect a seafood fork made of platinum and a few precious stones within to justify the price of a few eggs (albeit with a few added trappings). Nicknamed "The Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata," the world's most "egg-spensive" omelette is the objet d'art of chef Emilio Castillo of Norma's restaurant in New York's Le Parker Meridien Hotel. A smaller version is also available for $100.
10. Spice
Saffron, the most expensive spice in the world, has sold in recent years for as much as $2,700 per pound! The price tag is so high because it must be harvested by hand and it takes more than 75,000 threads, or filaments, of the crocus flower to equal one pound of the spice! Most saffron comes from Iran, Turkey, India, Morocco, Spain, and Greece, and in the ancient world the spice was used medicinally and for food and dye. Prices vary depending on the quality and the amount, but high-quality saffron has been known to go for as much as $15 per gram (0.035 ounces).
11. Cake
And the award for the most expensive food goes to...a fruitcake? Encrusted with 223 small diamonds, this cake (which is edible without the gems, of course) was for sale for an unbelievable $1.6 million in December 2005. One of 17 diamond-themed displays in a Japanese exhibit called "Diamonds: Nature's Miracle," the masterpiece took a Tokyo pastry chef six months to design and one month to create.

He was awarded the Silver Polar Medal for his efforts. Eighty years later, his diary sold for $150,000.
One caveat to keep in mind is that you don't know the true price of something until it is sold. That's why most of these items, via information collected and verified by Guinness World Records, were sold at auctions. To be sure, the most "valuable items" are unsellable. For example, the Mona Lisa might sell for more than $140 million, the record-setting price of the Pollock painting. But as long as it hangs behind bullet proof glass in the Louvre, there is no way to determine its market value.

Get Ready Enthusiasts :The 2012 Olympic Torch Memorabilia(Seeling is Happy :) )
The Olympic torch relay, which gets underway at Land's End on May 19, could well be a popular starting point for collectors with an eye on London 2012 memorabilia.
What price will this 'bling wastepaper
basket' command in years to come?
Much like other London 2012 designs, such as the official logo and one-eyed mascots, the torch has divided opinion, being likened to a "bling wastepaper bin" in some quarters.
It is not known how many torches are being made - the smaller the number, the more desirable they will be for memorabilia collectors looking for items of value.
A torch from the 1952 Helsinki Games achieved $400,000 at a Vassy-Jalenques SARL auction in Paris earlier this year - the most expensive item of Olympic memorabilia ever sold.
Just 22 Helsinki specimens were produced, making them highly sought after.
A torch from the London 1948 "austerity Games" made £6,463 at Christie's in 2000.
Olympic posters can make for highly prized collectibles, and 12 specially designed pieces designed by high profile artists such as Tracey Emin, Martin Creed and Rachel Whiteread, will be revealed at Tate Britain in June 2012.
The original preparatory painting by Allen Jones for a 1972 Munich Olympics poster sold for £8,400 at Bonhams in March of this year.
A popular Olympic item needn't come from a Games of yesteryear. Sometimes the very immediacy of an event can ratchet up the price for sports memorabilia.
For example, a sale of 23 game-worn Canada ice hockey jerseys from the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver raised $94,000 for the Haiti appeal.
It's hard to imagine a similar price being achieved for Team GB's field hockey tops next year, however.
The most expensive London 2012 item set to come on the market is a commemorative £1,000 gold coin being produced by the Royal Mint. It is expected to cost around £40,000.

Known to millions across the globe as ‘Rachel’, the popular TV comedy series F.R.I.E.N.D.S star Jennifer Aniston started the New Year with a bang, as she purchased a magnificent luxury mansion for a whopping $21 million. Already being hailed as one of the most expensive things sold in the month of January this year, the mansion is located in the prestigious residential community of Bel Air in Los Angeles, California. The Bel Air mansion was designed exclusively by A. Quincy Jones and features 4 bedrooms as well as 6.5 bathrooms, while providing breathtaking view of the ocean and the lovely city of Los Angeles. The entire mansion is sprawled across 3.5 acres of prime land and provides a comfortable 8,500 square feet of living space for Ms. Aniston and her boyfriend Justin Theroux. The Bel Air mansion sports a separate projection room and even comes with its own vineyard and wine cellar. Other features include a swimmers’ pool, a separate guest house and a spa. This luxury mansion was listed for $24.9 million, but reports suggest that Jennifer Aniston grabbed this expensive man for a bargain price of $21 million.
John James Audubon’s “Birds of America”, which till date holds the record for being the most expensive book in the world has now maintained its stellar reputation by entering into the prestigious list of the most expensive item sold in January 2012. Book of America was auctioned off last month by the renowned auction house Christie’s, which sold the book for a whopping $7.9 million. this rare first rare edition contains some 400 beautifully painted life size rendition of North American bird species and the entire book comes in three volumes. This expensive book was offered for auction by the 4th Duke of Portland and the book was accompanied by first edition of the author’s “Ornithological Biography.” As per numerous experts, John James Audubon had released some 200 first edition copies during the timeline 1827 to 1838, of which 120 are accounted for, where in 107 copies are in the hands of various museums, along with 13 copies are known to be in private hands. This astounding book stands at three and a half feet in height and features hand painted portraits of bird species from the 19th century North America
The start of the year 2012 has been in one word ‘thrilling’ for the automobile industry. Earlier last month, one of the most renowned auction houses, Gooding & Company brought under the hammer a vintage and extremely rare 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, which only mesmerized the attendees at the auction, but also fetched a mind blowing $4.62 million. Considered to be the most expensive item sold in January 2012, the 300SL Gullwing was estimated to bring in between $2,500,000 and $3,000,000, but to its rarity and mint condition, the vintage car fetched far more than anticipated. The 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing is part of an exclusive production series introduced by Mercedes Benz and only 29 models were ever manufactured. This particular model carries an entire aluminum alloy body and the entire series is much renowned as being one of the most desirable coupes in the 1950s. The 300SL Gullwing was powered by an Inline-6, water cooled engine, producing an astounding 240 hp, making it one of the most elegant sports cars of all time. With a four speed manual transmission, the 300SL Gullwing was capable of making a sprint of 0 – 60 mph in just 8 seconds, with a top speed of 146 mph.
The year 1793 is quite special for the U.S economy, as this was the year when the nation minted its very first series of currency coins that kick started the economy. One such coin a 1793 Chain Cent was auctioned off earlier last month by Heritage Auctions and fetched an astounding $1.38 million. Officially known as the 1793 Chain Cent, MS65 Brown PCGS, this vintage coin has claimed the tile of one of the most expensive item sold and is a vital legacy of the earliest of the U.S currency minting trend. The auction was conducted in Orlando, Florida and the coin itself was part of a coin collection that was presented under the Jan. 4-6 U.S. Coins & Platinum Night FUN Signature Auction event. The entire auction was composed of some 9,420 coins and grabbed the interest of more than 7,000 bidders, while bringing in a stunning $55.8 million in combined sales. The new owner of the 1793 Chain Cent has reportedly wished to be anonymous, though the coin is known to have been minted at the Mint in Philadelphia in 1793.
A rare and rather unusual piece of art was offered by Sotheby’s in New York in the month of January this year and this unique specimen of art soon claimed the title of the most expensive item sold in January 2012. We are talking about a lively farm scene embroidered on linen by artist Mary Antrim using silk thread, which fetched a substantial $1.07 million. This magnificent piece of art was created in the year 1807, when Mary Antrim was just a schoolgirl, residing in New Jersey. The needlework art depicts a mesmerizing scene of livestock, picket fences and clapboarded outbuildings, while the entire auction event was composed of some 198 pieces of gorgeous art that were claimed from the personal collection of renowned historian Betty Ring. This magnificent specimen was claimed by an anonymous bidder, who had employed the services of art dealer David Schorsch to buy the needlework. The needlework portrait by Mary Antrim was expected to fetch a meager amount of $60,000 to $80,000 and as per estimates, took more than an entire year to be completed.
The month of January proved to be quite a significant month in terms of the remembrance of the U.S history, as a wine cooler crafted especially for George Washington was sold for a whopping $782,500. Sold by the renowned auction house, Christie’s this Sheffield wine cooler is now considered to be one of the most expensive things sold in January 2012 and far exceeded its pre-sale estimates of $600,000. The wine cooler was claimed at the auction by Gary Hendershott, a collector based in Little Rock, Arkansas, who happens to have an intense interest in just about everything related to the first President of the United States of America. This vintage and rare wine cooler was designed to accommodate four wine bottles along with ice and is part of a collection of four such coolers that were designed for the former President Washington, when he was sworn into office, during a time when the U.S capital happened to be New York. This cherished wine cooler was then later gifted by George Washington to his friend and the first treasury secretary, Alexander Hamilton.
The world’s biggest fish market, Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo, Japan last month also became the venue for the sale of the most expensive tuna, when a humongous Bluefin tuna was sold for a staggering $736,000. Counted in the elite list of the most expensive things sold in January 2012, this mammoth fish weighs about 270 kg and was caught in the waters off northeastern Japan. The most expensive tuna was purchased by Kiyoshi Kimura, who runs the renowned Sushi Zanmai chain of restaurants in Japan under the Kiyomura Co. banner and serves as the company’s President. The Bluefin tuna was purchased with a noble thought of providing the calamity hit Japanese people with something refreshing to keep their spirits up. Immediately upon purchase, 10,000 slices of the most expensive tuna were sent over to more than 46 Sushi Zanmai restaurants in Tokyo and the guests are being offered the tuna at the regular price of $5.45 instead of the auction price, which will bring each tuna serving to $96.
One of the most celebrated Chinese artists of the 20th century, Zhang Daqian, once again gained the center of attention, when his critically acclaimed work, Wuxia Mountain Clear Autumn 1936 fetched a mind blowing $504,000 at an auction even organized by 888 Auctions. This remarkable feat was achieved last month and has now propelled the magnificent water color painting to the ranks of the most expensive things sold in January 2012. The Wuxia Mountain Clear Autumn 1936 was offered to the buyers with a pre-sale estimate of $100,000-$200,000, but after intensely fierce bidding, the painting finally crossed more than half a million dollars price tag, thus going for more than double its estimated value. The bidding for this marvelous piece of art began at just $5,000 and included interested art connoisseurs at the premises, on phone and even on the Internet. The entire event was composed of both Chinese paint art as well as Chinese ceramics and the event managed to raise a total of $717,180, of which $537,090 were solely gathered by the sale of the Chinese paint art, which was primarily inclusive of delicate works by Zhang Daqian and Li Kuchan.
A white 1964 Cadillac hearse which was used to transport the body of one of the most prominent figures in history, John F. Kennedy was recently auctioned off in the month of January this year and fetched a staggering $176,000. The 1964 Cadillac hearse was witnessed by millions across the globe, when this historic vehicle transported the body of the late U. S President from the Parkland Memorial Hospital to the awaiting Air Force One at Dallas, Texas on November 22nd, 1963. The Cadillac hearse was put up for auction at the Barrett-Jackson Auction event in Scottsdale, Arizona and the vehicle is known to have spent more than forty years in the private collection of Arrdeen Vaughan, a Texan resident who is the owner of various funeral homes as well as funeral vehicles. The 1964 Cadillac hearse was purchased by real estate developer Stephen Tebo and is now considered to be one of the most expensive items, while also being immensely historically significant. Mr. Tebo has announced his plans of turning the hearse into a museum, while he is known to provide access to his private car collection four times in a year for various non-profit organizations.
The moment someone utters the name ‘Hitler’, our minds are immediately filled with the images of gross human-rights atrocities and that of one of the bloodiest conflicts of the modern times, the Second World War. However, there is another side of the former German dictator and Nazi ruler, Adolf Hitler, which many aren’t privy to. Before his rise to power as the absolute ruler of the Third Reich, Hitler was an avid painter and in the month of January this year, one of his paintings called, Maritime Nocturno, entered into the list of the most expensive things sold in January 2012. This historic piece of art was offered via an online auction and fetched a stunning $42,300 in an auction event held in Slovakia. The opening bid for the painting was set at $13,140 and after fierce competition the painting eventually went for more than $40K. The Maritime Nocturno depicts a full moon over a glittering seascape and the painting was put up for sale by the family of a Slovakian painter, who is believed to have met Hitler during his days of struggle as an artist and before his first steps into German politics.
Completely Sold: Jason Wu For Target
Jason Wu for Target launched today! How did the mass retailer do? While a Missoni-level disaster was averted, we do have some things to discuss.
First of all, the collection went live on the Target website at midnight, despite no official announcement from Target or Wu. That’s right — shoppers weren’t told when exactly the items would become available online. This may have helped Target avoid an enormous strain on its server during a particular window, but it also made a lot of customers very unhappy. Who wants to stay up all night refreshing their browsers?
Those who assumed the collection would be available on the site beginning at 8 a.m. EST (that is, when the first stores were to open) found that the majority of items were sold out as they had already been on sale for eight hours. As of Sunday afternoon, only 11 out of the 49 items offered on the website were still available.
Interestingly, Target is only marking online exclusives whose stock has been depleted as “sold out”. Items that are also sold in stores but are sold out online are marked as “available in stores”. If you click on these items, you can check the inventory of said item at a Target near you. This is a helpful feature, but most stores also seem to be sold out of the pieces in question. Of course, you could hedge your bets over on eBay — 4,681 items match a “Jason Wu for Target” search.

Worlds No.3 Music Company on SALE!!! The long Legendary music company is ready to be handed over.
Warner Music Group Corp., the world's third-largest recording company with such artists as Eric Clapton, Michael Buble and Paramore, is being sold for about $1.3 billion as a global decline in CD sales weighs down the industry.
Len Blavatnik's Access Industries is paying $8.25 a share and will take about $1.9 billion in Warner debt.
The deal, announced by the companies Friday, comes as U.S. recorded music sales are half what they were a little over a decade ago. Gains in digital sales have started to flatten, and CD sales continue to fall.
That means Blavatnik will have to cut staff and other expenses further and hope that a new wave of innovation will carry digital music sales higher.
"I am excited to extend my longstanding involvement with Warner Music," Blavatnik, 53, said in a statement. "It is a great company with a strong heritage and home to many exceptional artists."
Blavatnik is a former board member who was part of the group that bought the company in 2004. He has about a 2 percent stake in the company.
The sale ends a seven-year run by investors led by CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr., who purchased the company from Time Warner Inc. with private equity backing for $2.6 billion. Those investors slashed payrolls and took other measures to cope with music's decline. They took the company public a year later to help recoup their investment. There are now just 3,700 employees, down from 5,100 in late 2003.
The Russian-born Blavatnik will likely have to cut even more — so much so that billionaire Ron Burkle balked at pursuing the company past an initial round of bidding. Burkle worried that cuts might start to hurt Warner-signed artists he considers friends, such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, according to a person familiar with the matter. The person wasn't authorized to speak publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.
The fortunes of the music market remain uncertain and last year, rising download sales were offset by the collapse in the popularity of ringtones.
The new owner may have to bank on new services yet to take off. There's speculation that Google Inc. is coming out with a music service and that Apple Inc. will unveil a subscription plan to complement sales of individual tracks on iTunes.
Further deal-making is possible. Citibank is looking to sell Britain's EMI Group Ltd., which it seized from Guy Hands' Terra Firma private equity group in February after it defaulted on a loan.
Other groups that lost out on bidding for Warner — including No. 2 music company Sony Corp. — are also looking for parts that may be discarded from this deal.
In one possible scenario, Warner's new owner would try to buy No. 4 EMI in order to reap the benefit of slashing staff at a combined company, and then shed certain music labels or get rid of one of the publishing divisions to satisfy antitrust regulators.
Vivendi SA's Universal Music Group, ranked No. 1, is also looking to buy parts of Warner, EMI or both.
The deal marks a profitable exit for Bronfman and private equity partners Thomas H. Lee and Bain Capital, who have agreed to vote their combined 56 percent stake in favor of the deal. Thanks to special dividends and management fees over the years, investors have gotten back their $1.05 billion investment, plus 30 percent more.
The sale, expected to close by September, adds to that.
"We believe this transaction is an exceptional value-maximizing opportunity that serves the best interests of stockholders as well as the best interests of music fans, our recording artists and songwriters, and the wonderful people of this company," Bronfman said in a statement.
The investors wanted to sell Warner Music quickly because of the pending sale of EMI.
"When you have two major companies that are trying to sell, that would have had an impact on prices," said Standard & Poor's equity analyst Tuna Amobi. "They're probably going to take this money and run."

Looking For a Laptop in Your Budget:::::::See This(Below $400)
1. Asus EeePC 1018P - from £289
Unlike some of Asus' earlier Eee PC models, this netbook boasts a high-end look and feel, thanks to the brushed aluminium design. We can't remember seeing such a subtly stylish netbook before, and the matt finish means it's also impervious to scratches and scuffs while you're working at home or out and about.
The 1.1kg chassis isn't a problem to carry around for hours on end, and the strong battery life of 359 minutes gives you almost six hours of power, so it's great for those after a truly portable option.
Equally impressive is the 10.1-inch screen, which looks great encased in the brushed aluminium bezel. Brightness is good, as is detail, thanks to the 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. But it's the vibrancy of colours that pleases the most, and those looking for a netbook to watch films and view photos on will find a lot to like here.
An inclusion we are particularly impressed with is the 500GB of free online storage. This means you can save a vast amount of content from the 1018P's 250GB hard drive to Asus' servers and access it from anywhere in the world, adding convenience and security.
2. Asus X52F - from £319
The Asus X52F-EX894V is powered by an Intel Core i3 processor, which provides strong performance for those on a tight budget. It's not just performance that impresses though, with plenty of other surprising highlights and few flaws.
You can edit your photos and have a quick play around with your home movies, but you won't be able to play the latest games, because the integrated graphics can't cope.
Still, film fans will be pleased because you can watch DVDs via the built-in drive or stream your favourite movies or TV shows over the internet in high definition (HD) from sites such as BBC iPlayer. The Asus X52F-EX894V coped admirably, and catching up with last night's telly was a smooth experience.
This is also a great way to enjoy your media, thanks to the excellent screen. The 15.6-inch display isn't as sharp as the compact screens of the HP Pavilion DM1-3100sa and MSI U270, but it's bright and pleasingly vibrant.
The 320GB hard drive gives you enough storage for thousands of photos and full-length music albums. You also have a 4-in-1 memory card reader, which can be used to back up your data or expand the available storage. Three USB ports are available for connecting peripherals.
3. Acer Aspire 5552 - from £319
Performance is provided by a triple-core AMD Phenom II X3 processor but we were a little disappointed by the results of our benchmark tests, since the Acer was comprehensively beaten by other laptops around this price point.
Your Office applications will run fine, but anything more than light multitasking will bring the system to a halt. However, the Acer proves far more pleasing when it comes to graphical ability.
Most laptops around this price have basic integrated graphics, but the Aspire 552 is actually quite capable when it comes to streaming high-definition (HD) video and running other light multimedia tasks. You won't be able to frequently edit your media or play the latest games though.
While the Aspire 5552-N834G50Mnks has limited performance, a weak battery and an ugly plastic chassis, it isn't all bad news. The display is fantastic considering the low price, while usability and features provide good value for money.
4. Samsung RV510 - from £323
When you're spending less than £400 on a laptop, you're not going to get the best power or build quality, but for basic users the Samsung RV510 is a good buy.
The screen is very bright and produces vivid images that make the laptop great for viewing photos and films. The standard glossy Super-TFT screen coating is in place, but manages to suppress reflections in bright light well.
An attractive silver paint finish has been implemented, which contrasts nicely with the black screen bezel and mock-chrome mouse buttons to make this an aesthetically pleasing laptop.
Build quality is surprisingly good, and at 2.4kg this is quite light. The 247 minutes of battery life is also useful for those who travel a lot and require a decent battery life.
5. Acer Aspire 5742G - from £349
Right out of the box the Aspire has enough processing power to handle everything you want in a starter laptop, but on top of that it's also a pleasure to look at. The textured finish on both the lid and internal chassis feels comfortable and won't pick up the grubby fingerprints that curse more reflective designs.
The keyboard doesn't feel quite as sturdy as some (we noticed an obvious flex in the keyboard during typing), but the keys are well spaced and easy to type on. The Aspire 5742G sports Acer's favoured keyboard where keys appear to float above the chassis. This looks great, but you'll find it quickly traps debris underneath the keys.
The Acer is built around Intel's Core i3 processor, which provides plenty of power, and is backed up by the 4096MB of memory.
But what really sets the Aspire 5742G apart is the 1024MB of video memory provided by the dedicated Nvidia GeForce GT 520M graphics card. This laptop will be fine running the current crop of gaming titles and will easily handle photo and HD video editing.
Wowwwwwww:::See those Masterpieces. The Costlest Cars of the Year
1. Bugatti Veyron Super Sports $2,400,000. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today (the base Veyron costs $1,700,000). It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. It is also the fastest street legal car when tested again on July 10, 2010 with the 2010 Super Sport Version reaching a top speed of 267 mph. When competing against the Bugatti Veyron, you better be prepared!
2. Pagani Zonda Clinque Roadster $1,850,000. One of the most exotic cars out there is one of the most expensive. It can go from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph.
Lamborghini Reventon $1,600,000. The most powerful and the most expensive Lamborghini ever built is the third on the list. It takes 3.3 seconds to reach 60 mph and it has a top speed of 211 mph. Its rarity (limited to 20) and slick design are the reasons why it is so expensive and costly to own.
3. Koenigsegg Agera R $1,600,000. The Agera R can burn 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 260 mph. It has the parts to reach 270 mph, but the supercar is electronically capped at 235 mph. With the completion of certain paperwork, the company will unlock the speed limit for one occasion.
A Whomping Amount::::::::Looks like this apartment is built on Mars , very very costly deal.
In any other week, in any other city, in any other building, the sale of a three-bedroom apartment for $24 million — the most expensive transaction of the week, according to city records — would not go unnoticed.
But in the same week, in this city, the reported sale of a penthouse in the same building, 15 Central Park West, for a record-shattering $88 million, to the 22-year-old daughter of a Russian oligarch, dwarfed the first deal and made all others seem rather ho-hum.
The 6,774-square-foot apartment, which fronts on Central Park, was being sold by the financier Sanford I. Weill and his wife, Joan, who paid $43.7 million for it in 2007.
The sale is still in contract, and the records of the transaction have not been made public, but if completed it will become the most expensive New York apartment deal ever, crushing the $53 million paid by the investor Christopher Flowers for the town house at 4 East 75th Street.
Word recently leaked out that Mr. Weill and his broker, Kyle W. Blackmon of Brown Harris Stevens, had found a buyer willing to pay full price. This week, Forbes confirmed that the buyer was Ekaterina Rybolovleva, the daughter of a Russian billionaire, Dmitriy Rybolovlev, obtaining a statement from her representatives.
“Ms. Rybolovleva is currently studying at a U.S. university,” the statement read. “She plans to stay in the apartment when visiting New York. Ms. Rybolovleva was born in Russia, is a resident of Monaco, and has resided in Monaco and Switzerland for the past 15 years.”
Ms. Rybolovleva’s father, whose worth is put at $9.5 billion and who is ranked by Forbes as the world’s 93rd-richest person, began to build his fortune in the early 1990s, in the chaotic days after the fall of the Soviet Union. He bought interests in industrial companies, eventually controlling one of the country’s largest potash fertilizer businesses. Like other oligarchs, he fell afoul of the powers that be; in 1996 he was accused in the murder of a businessman and spent nearly a year in prison. Ultimately he was acquitted for lack of evidence.
This is not Mr. Rybolovlev’s first foray into mammoth real estate deals in America. In 2008 he paid nearly $100 million for Maison de L’Amitié,Donald Trump’s 33,000-square-foot estate in Palm Beach, Fla.
The sale of the other apartment at 15 Central Park West, on the 31st floor, attracted little notice, though it further solidified the building’s reputation as a property that can do no wrong.
George Logothetis, a shipping magnate, and his wife, Nitzia, had owned the apartment, which they bought for $12.93 million in 2008. The new owner bought it under the name of a company called Mac Holdings, according to city records.
Representatives for Mr. Weill declined to comment on his sale. But when he first put the property on the market, he said he planned to donate sale proceeds to charity. No word yet on who the recipient is, but it seems this will be a very nice holiday for at least one lucky daughter of a Russian billionaire and whatever charity gets the nod from Mr. Weill.

Game Loverz::::: Heres a list for u Top Gamezzzzzzzzz of 2011
The top ten highest sellers in the US for 2011, and it’s probably close to what you expected:
1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (360, PS3, Wii, PC)
2. Just Dance 3 (Wii, 360, PS3)
3. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (360, PS3, PC)
4. Battlefield 3 (360, PS3, PC)
5. Madden NFL 12 (360, PS3, Wii, PSP, PS2)

8. Gears of War 3 (360)
9. Just Dance 2 (Wii)
10. Assassin's Creed: Revelations (360, PS3, PC)
The top three sellers for December and all of 2011 are the same, and all the games on this list except for Madden, Just Dance 2 and Black Ops came out in the fall. In a strange combination, it seems that American gamers love two things: dancing and military shooters. Also worth noting is that only two games are system exclusives and that no portable titles made the list, despite Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 having really strong showings at the year’s end.
Other parts of the world also posted their top sellers for the year. Take a look at the UK’s and you’ll see some striking similarities:
1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (360, PS3, PC, Wii)
2. FIFA 12 (360, PS3, PC, Wii)

[edit] Notes
The Perry Rhodan series has sold more than 1 billion copies,[205] but is not listed because that figure includes magazine sales, not novels alone. Similarly, the Jerry Cotton series has sold over 300 million copies, but most of these were in magazine format.[206]
The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien is included in the list as a single entry because it was written by Tolkien as a single book.
